Antipasto to Dolce: Four-Course Tuscan Dinners

Learn to make complete 4-course Italian dinners. We cover all basic Italian cooking techniques with an emphasis on our divine Tuscan specialties.




Antipasto

You will make a wide range of anti pasti including crostini, bruschetta, and torte verdura to mention but a few delicious appetizers.


Pasta and Pizza
As pastamaker, you will make your own gnocchi and will roll out other tempting pasta. Fettuccini, tagliatelli, papardelle, or agnolotti, anyone? Learn the secret to good sauces like Gorgonzola, truffle cream or duck. Also, you will make typical Tuscan fillings for ravioli and lasagna. You will prepare and bake pizza, too, in our own wood burning oven.


Main Courses
Meat dishes include wild boar with polenta, tagliata with green pepper sauce and baked vegetables.


Dolce
Desserts include Paola's famous panna cotta or Franco’s warm lemon pie with Italian meringue.

The Chefs
The Tuscan Cooking Course is taught by our Italian chefs: Paola Baccetti in Casa Ombuto or by Franco Palandra in Torre del Tartufo. They share their passion for Italian cuisine and their sense of fun in the kitchen as they demonstrate the dishes that you prepare expertly.
